Chrissy:

Hey, everybody. Welcome back to Zimmerman and Frontier Liquor and Beer, Booze, and BS. I'm Chrissy Bonhoeff. With me today is Polly.

Paul:

Boy.

Chrissy:

Just the two of us today, Paul.

Paul:

Oh, shit.

Chrissy:

Yep. Back to the basics. Yep. I said back to the OGs. That'll probably be the title of this.

Chrissy:

Back to the OGs. Yeah. Had no guests with us today, but that's alright. We got shit to talk about. I haven't really focused anything about unused, so

Paul:

Perfect.

Chrissy:

What have you been up to?

Paul:

Not a fucking thing, just working.

Chrissy:

Yeah. What did

Paul:

you end

Chrissy:

up doing over the July 4?

Paul:

We went up to my brother's wife's brother's place up north, whatever.

Chrissy:

On a lake or

Paul:

No. It was he's he's it's badass. So he got this piece of property, 14 acres. Right? Yep.

Paul:

It's where the fuck? It's up at Crosby or something. K. Or by Cross Lake, kinda Pelican Lake, something somewhere up there.

Chrissy:

Yep.

Paul:

But he bought, like, this 14 acres in auction and paid, like, fucking nothing. And it's surround it's like this 14 acres

Chrissy:

Megan's brother?

Paul:

I think it's Or somebody in Megan's family? Yeah. I'm not sure who it is. Okay. Megan's sister's husband, I think.

Chrissy:

Okay.

Paul:

Something like that or Megan's sisters. I don't know. Anyway, it's fucking that square. Right? Yep.

Paul:

And it's surrounded on all sides by

Chrissy:

Red Lakes.

Paul:

No. By public or like state state land. Yeah.

Chrissy:

Oh, state land.

Paul:

And then, like, his his driveway or the road that goes in, it's like right at the trailhead. So there's like right at his driveway, there's trails that just go all over.

Chrissy:

No shit.

Paul:

Yeah. And so it's like no one can build around him. He doesn't like, it's it's back far enough in there. And, like, the property came with, like, this fucking six foot fucking prison fence or eight foot prison fence. Shut up.

Paul:

Yeah. It's like six On the

Chrissy:

whole 14 The

Paul:

whole fuck yeah. I'm like, dude, that's that because Sean told me how much

Chrissy:

How much that one cost?

Paul:

Yeah. And the the land that he paid for was cheaper. I guarantee it was way the fuck cheaper than that fucking How

Chrissy:

fuck did he ever find that deal?

Paul:

I mean, his dad found it somehow, I guess, on like auction, just happened to watch it. He's like, hey. He's like, there's this property, cheap as fuck. No one could build around us.

Chrissy:

I bet you the state probably built the fence. Yeah. Considering that it's

Paul:

Yep. Surrounded by that. Yeah. I don't I know you didn't have to pay for that fence. I'm like, that fence has gotta be fucking $50.60 grand, I bet.

Paul:

I don't know. But, yeah, we went up there and we brought dirt bikes, four wheelers, side by sides, and just all around the trail heads and had fires and went to the lake, went tubing, went fishing on the river. It's like yeah. That that the trails or whatever, they, like, they, like, run right along the river too. So we went and, like, swam in a river and went fishing, caught a bunch of fish, actually.

Paul:

A bunch of, like, crappies.

Chrissy:

Now is there a house on the property? They built the house?

Paul:

Or No. They've just got, like, a fifth wheel. Big fifth wheel, and then they've got a ice castle too. Okay. Yep.

Chrissy:

Okay. Do

Paul:

you still have your ice castle? No. I wish. Yeah. We sold that and went and bought we were gonna buy another one.

Paul:

We ordered one. Custom ordered it. Thing was badass, and it was the most fucked up, like, that whole process. I guess one of the guys he's fired now, but one of the guys who was working there that we were dealing with Yeah. Was, a closet alcoholic and just Oh, no.

Paul:

Like, everything seemed great, but it's, like, one issue after another, like

Chrissy:

Where were you ordering it from? Malacca? Yeah.

Paul:

Yep. Claim. Yep. Yeah. We did a custom one and they like so we wanted like a fireplace here and we wanted like a certain like it had a live well and shit.

Chrissy:

Yeah.

Paul:

Because I figured summertime whatever we could use it for like a put a bunch of ice there. Can use it for a cooler. Right? Yeah. It's got a drain and shit.

Paul:

Perfect. Yeah. So like we had that and we did a cub couple custom other things like bigger windows and shit and more cabinets and thing was fucking gangster. And yeah, they just dude, that dude just fucked everything up. Like, you gotta like, the plans are like, they draw it all out.

Paul:

Yeah. So

Chrissy:

So you're, like, making it.

Paul:

Yeah. Yeah. He's okay. So and then they draw it all out. They do it exactly how you want it.

Paul:

And then they gotta send it to send it to IceCastle to approve to make sure they can do it how you want it.

Chrissy:

Approve the plans. Yeah.

Paul:

And he said, yeah. Everything's good to go. And then, like, we we ordered, I think, in, like, the August, but this was around the, like, right before the pandemic started. Oh. So, like, we ordered it in August, and he's like, oh, it'll be here I think he said, like like, September, I think he said.

Paul:

We're like, alright. Sweet. Whatever. We'll have plenty of time before ice ice fishing starts, and then it never showed up. And then he's like, oh, you'll have it by Thanksgiving.

Paul:

Never showed up. Oh, you'll have it by Christmas. Never showed up. You'll have it by New Year's. Never showed up.

Paul:

Fucking it didn't show up till after

Chrissy:

No. Is it because of the pandemic? Because nothing was up and running?

Paul:

You know, I don't honestly, I don't know because they they were shelling them out and they were getting shit done, but I don't know if he if it was his fault and he was fucking up and he just didn't stay in contact and he was just kinda fucking telling us whatever. Like, ice cat like, if we would actually call ice castle, they're like, no. It ain't gonna be done for six months. Yeah. But he was just, like, maybe just telling us that to keep us happy or interested or I don't even know what.

Paul:

But yeah. So it fucking ice fishing came and went and

Chrissy:

because I would think during the pandemic, like, you should be selling them like freaking crazy. What else people are gonna do? You know?

Paul:

Exactly. Then yeah. So then when it finally did come in, like, the the shit that we ordered wasn't done right. Oh. Like, the for example, the fireplace was supposed to be at the end of this cabinet or whatever at, like, an angle kinda right off to where the bed is.

Chrissy:

Mhmm.

Paul:

And supposedly, he's like, yeah. Ice castle couldn't do it or whatever, blah blah blah, so they moved it. And I'm like, no, that's bullshit. I'm like, you fucked up somewhere between there. Just trying to pass.

Paul:

Because Exactly. Because it's like, whatever. Like I said, they gotta go to Ice Castle and make sure it can even be done. So now we got this like countertop. Right?

Paul:

And it's a nice big countertop. And then it's got a fucking fireplace in the middle. So your countertop goes like this with a fucking fireplace sticking halfway out of it. And then they just put a fucking countertop on that. I'm like, what the that's It's like, why the fuck would I want that?

Paul:

It's just And when you're paying like $50 for a fucking setup like that, it's like, I know. I want it the way I fucking ordered it. That's why I ordered the fucking thing.

Chrissy:

Right?

Paul:

Oh. It would have been badass, but yeah. They fucked everything up

Chrissy:

and So you just said fuck it?

Paul:

Yeah. I'm like, no. I'm like, I'm not taking this. I'm like, you fucking give us our money back, and we only had a $100 deposit, which wasn't a big deal anyway. Right.

Paul:

And then he fucking couldn't even get that right, like on the check on the check Did

Chrissy:

he give you back more?

Paul:

No. I wish. Should've for all the bullshit we went through. But, yeah, it was Roxy was the one, like, dealing with him the whole time or Oh, that's so frustrating. And it was in her name and all that shit.

Paul:

She put the money down all that shit, and then he fucking put Roxy Schweifel on the fucking check. And it's like, we're not married. What is she gonna do with that? Yeah. So then I had to go back in and I'm like, you couldn't even fucking do the most basic fucking Fuck that up too.

Paul:

So I was just like, what? Is

Chrissy:

that guy still there?

Paul:

No. I I I told another dude about this who worked there. Oh. And he's like, oh, no, dude. He's like

Chrissy:

He's gone.

Paul:

Yeah. It makes a lot of sense. He was fired a while back. Yeah. I'm like, oh, that makes sense.

Paul:

I guess he was like drinking on the job and had a bunch of bottles like thrown over the fence behind behind the work or something supposedly.

Chrissy:

Hitting the sauce.

Paul:

Yeah. I don't know. What do you do?

Chrissy:

Well, that place up north sounds badass.

Paul:

Oh, yeah.

Chrissy:

Was. I wonder what he paid for it. Did he tell you?

Paul:

Think he said it was

Chrissy:

Something just dirt cheap, I I

Paul:

think it was under $10. What? I'm not I can't think What? Yeah. I think it was I

Chrissy:

I'm not And all fenced in.

Paul:

Yeah. I'm not What

Chrissy:

a dream.

Paul:

I know. Right? Man. Dude, it's like no one come in and out. No one can fuck with your shit.

Paul:

Like I said, it's it's like a prison fucking fence. It's got like three

Chrissy:

Is it chain link or

Paul:

is it Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Chrissy:

It's so

Paul:

what? I mean, you could still fuck with it and get through there, obviously. But I mean Oh,

Chrissy:

like if you have animals Yeah. Or anything?

Paul:

You could just let everything just roam. And it's all like

Chrissy:

14 acres? It's That's my dream is to have my whole 10 acres fenced in. Exactly how much it

Paul:

would cost. Yeah. Like I said, that fence, I'd fuck. I can't imagine what that fence cost.

Chrissy:

Especially if it's like, is it? Probably eight foot, 10 foot?

Paul:

Probably It seven, eight foot Yeah. I think. And then it had like three three rows of barbed wire on top. Yeah.

Chrissy:

So it was like a prison.

Paul:

Well, that's why that's why I when I rolled up, I'm like, what the fuck is this? Like a old prison yard. Yeah. Some shit.

Chrissy:

Fucking could have been like a work camp for boys or something or where they went up there and chopped wood.

Paul:

Yeah. Like Yeah. Craig was saying or whatever. Yeah. I don't know.

Paul:

It's fucking badass, dude. I'd kill to have that, especially to pay, like, under $10. Fuck me running.

Chrissy:

Oh, man.

Paul:

Sounds like like

Chrissy:

And especially up there, there's a lake.

Paul:

Yeah. Well Like a corner. It was the same thing. So, like, we just ten minutes down the road, there was a nice public beach on Pelican Lake, I think it was. Yeah.

Paul:

It was Nice. Got it. It was fucking badass. And it's only like an hour and a half, hour and forty five minutes from here. So, yeah, it was it was sweet.

Chrissy:

Been getting any riding in?

Paul:

No. A little bit here and there. Don't it's more dirt bike. I've been

Chrissy:

Oh, really?

Paul:

Yeah. I've been way more on my dirt bike than my bagger.

Chrissy:

Dirt bike at? Just at your house?

Paul:

Oh, fuck. All over. Just yeah. I probably shouldn't, but so far cops haven't fucked with me. So far.

Paul:

Yeah. Just take

Chrissy:

where you're going.

Paul:

Right? I just take off. I've been all over. Like, I've been up 169 to Elk River right in front of a cop and he I guess, I don't know, if you don't if you're not fucking around doing stand up wheelies, which I mean I do that all the time. Just try not to get caught.

Paul:

Right?

Chrissy:

But Yeah.

Paul:

Yeah. I've been like over there all by like Pine Brook down 95. I just I don't know. I try to find new dirt roads and fuck around on there. Cool.

Paul:

Probably irritate the fuck out of the locals.

Chrissy:

I doubt it.

Paul:

I don't know. It's fun. I love it. I wish there were more dirt roads, but yeah. I go to Miller Hill in Brainerd.

Paul:

It's only like, I don't know, an hour and twenty minutes, hour and fifteen from here. Mhmm. But it's got single track which is just basically like a path through the woods like 18 inches wide. Yep. And it's just all dirt bike trails.

Paul:

And then they got four wheeler trails over there

Chrissy:

too. Four dirt bikes.

Paul:

Oh, cool. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Like, can

Chrissy:

I like, with snowmobile trails, can you ride dirt bikes on them in the summer or no?

Paul:

I don't I don't Technically, I don't think I'm allowed to even ride dirt bikes anywhere Oh. Other than, like, state parks like that, Namaji and Paul Bonney and shit. But, yeah. I don't know.

Chrissy:

Because that's why well, what's the Sioux the Sioux Line? Oh, yeah. That's that butts up to Mike's property up there in

Paul:

Oh, does it?

Chrissy:

Willow River. Yeah. That's where I like that's well, He used to really really be into like riding four wheelers and stuff and him and his buddies would always go up there. That's why he ended up buying that piece of land that he has up But And he met me and we never go anywhere anymore.

Paul:

Yeah. That's that's what happens dude. Fucking

Chrissy:

No. No. He's super thrilled about riding his moped to this hardware store in town. Yeah. He's like, I gotta go to the hardware store.

Chrissy:

I think I'm gonna ride my moped.

Paul:

Do you do you guys buy a couple mopeds when you were down in Florida or some shit?

Chrissy:

He bought them. I did not buy a moped. He now has two along with his fucking 50 mini

Paul:

bikes that

Chrissy:

he has. But, yeah. The mopeds are licensed and can like Oh, yeah. You know.

Paul:

Oh, so they're street legal

Chrissy:

and They're street legal. Nice. He ended up buying Well, he got that red one for Florida Mhmm. Which then didn't run when we got there half the time. And then, he bought another one that I don't know if that one runs yet or not.

Chrissy:

I think he said it runs because wanted me to ride it into town with him, I think. And I'm like, I ain't riding a moped all the way into town.

Paul:

Why not? It's fucking fun. I mean, rode my mini bike.

Chrissy:

He made good time though. I'm like, he's like here.

Paul:

I really took me like a half hour I think from my house to just behind Subway, there's that mechanic shop.

Chrissy:

Yeah.

Paul:

Yeah. I rode my mini bike there That's

Chrissy:

right. One day. What did you yeah.

Paul:

Because I had to get brakes or I did do brake lines on my truck, so I loaded the mini bike in there.

Chrissy:

You did

Paul:

tell that it'll probably take about, I don't know, eight hours or so. I think he had it done a little sooner, but yeah, I loaded it up, fucking rode it all the way home. I remember Sam McFarlane, fucking cocksucker, seeing me on the road. He stops, backs up, just he's got a diesel, just fucking rolls coal. I'm just sitting there just putting out of a fucking club of fucking coal.

Paul:

Funny.

Chrissy:

No. Sam McFarlane, is he related to Dan McFarlane? Do you know?

Paul:

Oh, I don't know.

Chrissy:

Is he are they from this area?

Paul:

Sam? Yeah. Oh, okay. Yes.

Chrissy:

Because I went to school with a Dan McFarlane.

Paul:

Oh, really?

Chrissy:

That I was always wondered if they were

Paul:

I'm sure he knows. Yeah. Probably. Somehow, some way.

Chrissy:

Because because Dan went to, obviously, Cambridge ISANTI school with me, but Yeah. He I could see him being into that type of stuff. Mhmm. Yeah. I haven't really been doing nothing.

Chrissy:

We got went and got myself some stain to stain my deck. So I'll that's what I'll be doing all this next week.

Paul:

Oh, that sounds miserable.

Chrissy:

But I bought I fucking just spent $650 on the fucking good shit that's supposed to last Yeah. For like five or six years.

Paul:

And it's gonna last like two?

Chrissy:

No. Don't say that because the last crap I got lasted two. Barely Really? Even two. Yeah.

Paul:

Did you so do you have to like sand it all down or you just pressure wash it or what do you gotta do?

Chrissy:

I pressure washed it last year with the intent to do it last year and then in time allowed away for me and I got so it's been pressure washed last year, but I did talk to the guy that is the five state area rep for this certain stain that I got. Yep. And it's like top of the line shit. Yep. And he said sand it.

Chrissy:

He goes, don't pressure wash it. Oh, god. So I got a sanding disc. So

Paul:

That sounds miserable.

Chrissy:

It's literally because I've already pressure washed it. It's just gonna be a light sand. So

Paul:

That's what you say, and then it's like three weeks later, you're sitting there's fucking goddamn something.

Chrissy:

I did my picnic table, that huge picnic table that I have out front. I did that last night, so that's all ready to go. And I did that in like, I don't know, twenty minutes.

Paul:

What do you get? Like a belt sander? Like a like a

Chrissy:

big disc?

Paul:

Of those

Chrissy:

DeWalt wins that runs off the battery.

Paul:

Oh, yeah.

Chrissy:

And then I get discs. Yep. They told me what grip paper to get. Yep. So I got like a pack of 10 which I can see now that that ain't gonna Yeah.

Chrissy:

Put a dent in it.

Paul:

Yeah. Right? So That's a big sized deck too.

Chrissy:

Yeah. It's a huge deck and I went through like one and a half just on my little on well, my picnic table is big But that has that was in rough shape. So it needed to be released. Oh. But yeah.

Chrissy:

So that's my project do

Paul:

you got a sprayer then to spray it or are you hand stain stain it?

Chrissy:

I'm staining by brush. Brush?

Paul:

Yep. Fuck that.

Chrissy:

Yep. I don't know. I don't mind doing it. Like, I know you have to get up mornings and not do it in the Yeah. Sun and it has to not be humid.

Chrissy:

Yeah. So it's gonna be a process for probably the rest of the summer but

Paul:

Oh, god. That sounds fucking miserable.

Chrissy:

I don't mind it. I don't mind it. And then Mike's been doing the roof on the pole barn to get that fixed, but that's saving us like $17,000.

Paul:

So Oh, yeah.

Chrissy:

I'm like Yeah. So projects projects. That's what we're doing.

Paul:

Yeah. And I bet fucking that stain and shit, bet you that saves $5 more.

Chrissy:

Yeah. I had it estimated and it would have been yeah. Probably at least that.

Paul:

So Cool.

Chrissy:

And I Dan Floyd, do you know him?

Paul:

Oh, yeah.

Chrissy:

He's a local painter and he was gonna do it. He's done a lot of stuff for me. But I'm like, you know, I can't I don't really wanna spend it and I don't mind doing it. So I'm just gonna do it myself.

Paul:

My cousin Jason Botsick, he does that shit too. Paints paints like interiors and houses and shit

Chrissy:

Oh, yeah.

Paul:

Cabinets and trim and all exteriors, all

Chrissy:

that shit. And that's what I did all winter on the inside and I like never finished because it got too nice out.

Paul:

Chick. Hey, I'm just gonna start this project just enough to get it fucking irritated so when Mike walks by it every day, he's

Chrissy:

a rat's ass about any of it. I just I got Fuck. I got it started and like, that's a good winter project. So I will finish that up this winter or this fall when it's too cold to be outside. I just wanna get all my outside shit done.

Chrissy:

And then, just, you know, with this, doing this just takes up literally so much of my time. Just getting all the information and all stuff.

Paul:

Yeah. Edits and Yeah. Cool.

Chrissy:

But anyhow, Hulk Holden, were you a big wrestler fan?

Paul:

Fuck. Back in the day

Chrissy:

was a huge wrestler fan. Really? Oh, huge. Yeah.

Paul:

Yeah. Like, I would say like, fuck, what it had to be like maybe third, fourth, fifth grade. We always like huge then. Yeah. Like the WrestleManias WrestleManias?

Paul:

Yeah. We'd I remember like, we go to my buddy's place, Eric Verkunis, when we were younger and there'd be like, I don't know, eight, ten, 12 of us and we'd all fucking watch that WrestleMania tournament or whatever. What's it? Like the King of the Ring or whatever?

Chrissy:

They have many of them. They have the Rumble and the Cage matches.

Paul:

Yep. Yeah.

Chrissy:

But WrestleMania is like the big one.

Paul:

All be over there and we'd all like we'd play hockey in the basement and then we'd like just fucking WrestleMania in the living room. Their parents are about ready to strangle the fuck out of us in about eight seconds after getting there.

Chrissy:

Oh, my son. And he still is. Like, he Yeah. Buys WrestleMania. It was just on over Easter.

Chrissy:

Really? Was yeah. And, yeah. Oh, he buys it and he's gotta watch it and yeah. Yeah.

Chrissy:

Haven't He's huge into that.

Paul:

I haven't watched or heard or done any of that shit since probably fifth, sixth

Chrissy:

grew up with like my dad watching it. Yeah. My dad was a huge wrestling fan. So like on Sunday mornings when the AWA back seventies and eighties was on, I'd sit on Sundays and watch it with my dad.

Paul:

Nice.

Chrissy:

And I remember when I after I moved home, when Colton was still, like, two or three, had left his dad and I moved back home and was watching it with my dad one morning. Yeah. And I don't know if you ever knew who he was. He was the ultimate warrior.

Paul:

Oh, okay.

Chrissy:

Oh, he was just massive with long hair and like dressed as an Indian or whatever.

Paul:

Right. Did he have like those ribbons or something?

Chrissy:

Yep. On around his arms. I was like, he was so hot. I was like, oh my god, dad. He's so good looking.

Chrissy:

Like, that guy's hot. And my dad goes, I know a guy that looks just like that. I'm like, yeah, right. Give me a break. Because I was drinking with drinking with him on Friday night.

Chrissy:

I'm like, what are you talking about? He's even bigger than that guy. I'm like, shut up.

Paul:

He actually met him.

Chrissy:

No. It was Jim.

Paul:

Oh, it was

Chrissy:

It was Jim. Because I didn't believe my dad.

Paul:

I'm like Yeah.

Chrissy:

He was he looks just like that guy. In which Jim got mistaken for either triple h or Ultimate Warrior all the time. And so, I was like, yeah. My dad really knows somebody that looks like that. Sure.

Chrissy:

Yeah. In Princeton of all places. I was just with him up at long sighting.

Paul:

Right.

Chrissy:

And I never believed him. And that was probably, I would say in 2008 or not 02/2008. In 1988, probably in June, maybe July that summer. Yep. And then I ended up getting a job which is now it was Gusto's, now what is it?

Chrissy:

What's the North End bar? Neighbors.

Paul:

Oh, Neighbors. Yep.

Chrissy:

Yep. It's now Neighbors. And I ended up getting a job when it was Gusto's as a waitress there in that fall.

Paul:

Fuck. That was

Chrissy:

forever ago. Yeah. Forever. And so, I I about three my third shift, third day working, I seen this guy come in that was like, holy shit. And I still For real.

Chrissy:

I still didn't put two and two together though. Was just like, here's this big biker dude, like, he's fucking smoking hot, like Yeah. This is sexy as hell. But he is with a girl, so I didn't say too much, But he flirted with me and like, you know, that's you know, how we how we met or whatever. Right.

Chrissy:

But, yeah. And then it was after that that once he found out who I was, he was like, yeah, I know your dad. And then I was like, oh, you're the guy that he was freaking terrible. Funny.

Paul:

Yeah. Fuck. I remember Sean and I at my parents' old house had that split level, and it would you'd walk in whatever, and then it'd go up and down, they had that railing right around. I remember we used to fucking watch WrestleMania

Chrissy:

And they'd get all pumped up.

Paul:

Yeah. Yeah. And then jump, we'd fucking all the sheets, all the cushions. Mom and dad come home, and like, what are you fucking idiots doing? God.

Paul:

Jump off feel

Chrissy:

like I still know adult men that still watch it, and still get pumped up. They wanna body slam girlfriends and shit after watching it.

Paul:

I don't know, dude. It's just like watching a movie, like, back in the day. Right? When Oh, yeah. What is that?

Paul:

With Paul Walker and Vin Diesel.

Chrissy:

Oh. Fast and Furious.

Paul:

Yeah. I remember, like, I had my Dodge Neon. Right? Just the gayest car you could ever pimp out that I pimped out, and it's like in high school. It's like

Chrissy:

In high school?

Paul:

You have a what? An s r two four neo. Way better than the one I had though.

Chrissy:

Oh, that is funny.

Paul:

I had that Plymouth and I bought like a body kit for it and I had racing stripes painted on it.

Chrissy:

So was that your first car?

Paul:

No. Second. Okay. I had that s 10 low rider. Okay.

Paul:

And then then I bought that and it was like a five speed manual and I well, I remember cause I had like the neon low glow, I had a big dumb fucking wing, I had 18 inch fucking powder coated white rims.

Chrissy:

I'm getting to get that thing to fly.

Paul:

Oh, yeah, dude. I thought that thing was gangster and it was the slow fucking Golf TDI would wax that thing. Oh my I god. Thought that was the coolest fuck. I thought that was like a Lamborghini at the time.

Paul:

And then you go and like I said, well, as far as getting all pumped up Yeah. You get sidetracked. Yeah. Yeah. You go watch that fucking movie, they come out, you just fucking shift the gears and pass the motherfuckers.

Paul:

You're like, damn, Paul Walker, motherfucker. It's like idiot.

Chrissy:

How he died too. Like, in know, a Lamborghini or something

Paul:

like that? I think it was a Porsche.

Chrissy:

Or something.

Paul:

Something. Don't What

Chrissy:

a sad ordeal.

Paul:

Was fast, fucking expensive fucking car that I'll never get.

Chrissy:

Yeah. Well, me either, but Well, actually, I had did have a 09/11 Porsche for a brief moment. What? Yeah. When me and Jim got married, he bought me one.

Chrissy:

What? It wasn't a new one.

Paul:

Doesn't fucking matter.

Chrissy:

But it was a 1977 canary yellow. It was badass. Talk about a fun fun Right? Car to drive.

Paul:

Oh my lord. So raw with manual?

Chrissy:

Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah.

Paul:

I seen I was at in Malacca yesterday at the rec center or whatever. They got some rec days or something it's called or Okay. Whatever going on right now. They got music playing and shit. And there was, like, a Tiffany Blue nine eleven sitting out there and it was, like,

Chrissy:

A newer one? Yeah. Yeah. This was older but it was badass. I mean Oh.

Chrissy:

I really couldn't afford to drive it because like parts for it were expensive.

Paul:

Fucking Brakes on those things are like 5 fucking grand.

Chrissy:

My dad Jim was so pissed. My dad ended up He let my dad drive it. My dad was a big old big man, you know.

Paul:

Yeah.

Chrissy:

My dad drove it, opened the door, broke the door handle on it. Like the inside. That was like, I don't know, like $400 to get a 1977 fucking Porsche door handle, you know, to replace it. So, yeah.

Paul:

Well, that's why the I mean, like, those cars are they're just fucking insane. Like, every little thing is just so fucking expensive. Yeah. I mean, mean, oil change. I was reading, what was it?

Paul:

Like, a Bugatti or something? An oil change is like, fuck. It was something crazy. Why? $80,000.

Chrissy:

Don't Change the oil?

Paul:

Well, because like, in a regular car, right? You got like one drain plug. I think this one had like 21 bolts you had to for like the oil and shit and yeah.

Chrissy:

Well, I suppose. Anyone that's driving one of those can afford it.

Paul:

Well, and yeah. I think like, what is it? You can't even Those things are so fast. If you sustain like a top speed of like, I don't know what it was for more than so many miles, like the tires would just fucking grenade.

Chrissy:

Really?

Paul:

Yeah. I think when you actually I think when you something weird, like, you get new tires, you gotta get new rims too or something. I don't know, dude. Half this shit, it's like, really? Do you really need to?

Chrissy:

I don't know. But I mean, hey, if you have that kind of money to

Paul:

Yeah. Spend I see half fucking Bugatti in Rogers on my way home yesterday. Really? I was like, what the

Chrissy:

Do they sell them here someplace?

Paul:

I think yeah. I think it's like some something Corral or Carroll or Okay. Downtown.

Chrissy:

Alright. I'm faced with a guy that deals in, like, exotic

Paul:

cars or whatever. I know they have like Ferraris down there and

Chrissy:

Oh, yeah.

Paul:

Like Carousel or whatever the fuck that place is called.

Chrissy:

Oh, like, we're talking Bentleys and the Goddess.

Paul:

Oh, yeah. Yeah.

Chrissy:

It's big big

Paul:

Ferrari's and yep.

Chrissy:

But, yeah. Getting back to wrestling anyways, poor Hulk Hogan. I he was just one of those guys that I thought I don't know. He was 71, but he didn't look it. Like, and he didn't act it.

Chrissy:

He just he was just that I don't know. Like, every kid's

Paul:

Idol back then adults

Chrissy:

you know? I won't say he was my idol, but I adored him the fact that he entertained

Paul:

Oh, yeah.

Chrissy:

So many people. And we're talking for forty years. Right. Who can see that they entertained and were at the top of their game for like forty some years. Because his he was the he was the Hulkster.

Chrissy:

Yeah. You know, the Hulkamaniacs and you know, he just had that gimmick that was just amazing.

Paul:

Fingers in like so many different things, doesn't he?

Chrissy:

Reading Like so we went to Florida just this past fall. Yeah. I we stayed at my friend's place place one night in Clearwater, which his bar is in Clearwater and he's there all the time. He was there all

Paul:

the time.

Chrissy:

Him and his son, especially like on Monday nights and it happened to be the Monday night we got at her place. I'm like, God, we were so tired but I I didn't wanna go. Then, we just never ended up going. I'm bummed that I didn't I don't know if he was or not, but I know I follow that Hogan's Hangout.

Paul:

Oh, okay.

Chrissy:

And it's on the beach and it's

Paul:

Oh, God. That would be

Chrissy:

know a friend that went there, Neil Hysik. He went there because he's a huge wrestling fan. Yeah. And he met Hogan. So, pretty cool.

Chrissy:

Pretty cool that he got to meet him. I think his kid was there too.

Paul:

Can you imagine that having a fucking bar on the beach? Oh.

Chrissy:

Oh. My dream. Well, I don't know. I

Paul:

I'd go broke

Chrissy:

want a tiki bar. I don't like like a

Paul:

tiki hut. Yeah.

Chrissy:

This big with a That's

Paul:

all I want. I'll give

Chrissy:

you beers and I'll make

Paul:

Just like margaritas. Some. Yeah. Beers and margaritas.

Chrissy:

Yeah. With those spinning things in

Paul:

the back. Yeah. The ice cream pina coladas or whatever machines.

Chrissy:

That's all I would want because I don't wanna mess with food or, you know Right. Or simple. Well, down in Saint Pete Beach, that Chris, Chris' bar, did you ever meet him, the hockey guy?

Paul:

Fuck. I don't know.

Chrissy:

I was You probably did.

Paul:

I fucking damn near on autopilot blackout drunk from the time I got off my bike to damn near the time I got back on it.

Chrissy:

So

Paul:

Like I sobered up long enough to go home.

Chrissy:

His name is Chris and he's an x n f or x n h l hockey player.

Paul:

Oh, no shit. What's his last name?

Chrissy:

Monroe. Chris Monroe.

Paul:

Oh, okay.

Chrissy:

I don't remember who he played for.

Paul:

Oh, hi.

Chrissy:

Hi. I don't remember who he played for, but I know he was in the NHL. You his nose has no cartilage in it. You can just flatten it. It's like Yeah.

Chrissy:

It's

Paul:

He just thinking about that.

Chrissy:

We've got pictures because he It's kind of his thing. It's where he punch It's you're punching him in the nose and his nose just bends to

Paul:

the side. Just fucking fake thing.

Chrissy:

And we actually

Paul:

Prom?

Chrissy:

When we were there in November, again, after we left Tammy's place, we stopped at Chris's bar because they had just had the hurricane come Oh, no. Oh, Oh, my God. Yeah. He wasn't even up and running yet. The whole place

Paul:

Just trash. The whole

Chrissy:

Saint Pete's Beach was just trash. Oh. Like, the amount of work that they had, you know, to do was crazy. But he happened to be there and we got to visit him for a few minutes. But

Paul:

That's the only thing that would suck down there with the hurricane wrecking ship.

Chrissy:

So crazy how Miami is notorious for getting them on the on the the Atlantic Side. Normally where they stay on. When we first started going to the Gulf Side, everyone's like, oh, we never get hurricanes here. We never get hurricanes here. And now, like, probably the last five Yeah.

Chrissy:

Years it's like they've all been heading that direction. Yep. So, it feels like like after Katrina hit, then it's like it more and more have hit on that golf side. But it is I don't know. I work For me, it would be worth it.

Chrissy:

Yeah. Right? Because at least you know when it's coming.

Paul:

Oh, yeah.

Chrissy:

You know, you Yeah. Because I would love to have like a pole barn house.

Paul:

Oh.

Chrissy:

But, I'm so afraid of tornadoes. Like, shelter.

Paul:

I've seen sleeping

Chrissy:

sleeping in in the the middle of the night. You don't know.

Paul:

Well, I I feel like your phone nowadays does that fucking fucking

Chrissy:

alarm enough time?

Paul:

I don't know. I'd probably my dumbass would be standing outside.

Chrissy:

Where is it? You probably would. Yeah. Yeah. But, yeah.

Chrissy:

When I lived on on Lake Fremont there, that little house that we lived in doesn't have it just had a crawl space underneath. You would have had to run outside around the house, go into under the cobwebs and all of that crap.

Paul:

So my basement is. It looks like a fucking horror story murder scene.

Chrissy:

Do you have a basement or is it a crawl space

Paul:

under house?

Chrissy:

Yeah. This didn't even have a basement.

Paul:

This was

Chrissy:

just you had to go outside.

Paul:

Cross

Chrissy:

Cross space under the house.

Paul:

Yeah. I got that under my house too, but that's I mean, I wouldn't go under there. I'd go in the basement.

Chrissy:

So though, in I think it was in 1992 or '93 when Zimmerman still had their own local paper. We had a tornado that hit Zimmerman and our house made the front paper of that paper. Because we Our house ended up not having a lot of damage Yeah. Other than trees hitting the rope or whatever and the deck. Yeah.

Chrissy:

That night, we were I think we had fallen Both had fallen asleep on the couch watching TV or whatever. And all of a sudden, you know, he was notorious for fucking with me like all the time Yeah. In my sleep or whatever. Teasing me or whatever. And he's like, Chrissy, I think there's a tornado.

Chrissy:

I'm almost like, yeah. Right. And, you know, we had lived there for a few years at that point. So, you're used used to storms coming or whatever. He goes, no.

Chrissy:

I'm fucking serious. By the time he said that to me, he grabbed me and laid on top of me, grabbed a blanket and lay literally laid on top of me in the center of the house because that's where they say to go.

Paul:

Oh, yeah.

Chrissy:

And covered us up with a blanket and it was like a freight train going through. It didn't last very long.

Paul:

Yeah. It never does.

Chrissy:

And then it was just kinda still and quiet. Yep. But yeah. We and then it was Dead fucking quiet. Like that.

Chrissy:

See, that's what scares me. It's like but anyhow, I've gotten off track here. Started with wrestling, tornadoes, whatever.

Paul:

Same thing.

Chrissy:

But, yeah. Hulk, I'm reading here. He just got married two years ago to his third wife, and he's got $25,000,000. He does have a trust. He did have a trust in place.

Chrissy:

But I guess he's been not talking to his daughter for like eight years.

Paul:

Really?

Chrissy:

I guess, according to this article that I read, they have been estranged for, like eight years or more. Where she hasn't talked to her mom or her dad. Don't really know the the details on that but I was reading here though, interesting. Now, he's only been married to his third wife two years. But regardless if she's even listed in the trust as a a trustee Mhmm.

Chrissy:

She would buy a Florida law. She would automatically qualify just because of the law to get 30% what of whatever he's worth or whatever he has in

Paul:

of 25,000,000? Yeah.

Chrissy:

Just his house is 11 and a half million.

Paul:

Jesus.

Chrissy:

And his bar has gotta be huge and Yeah. Right. Whatever else he owns. I'm sure he owns a

Paul:

ton of stuff. Well, do do wasn't he just on like 93 x last week or something?

Chrissy:

Was

Paul:

he? I thought so. Unless they unless they were do they might have been doing like a rerun episode Oh, right. Past. I remember the that's what I was saying.

Paul:

He's got his fingers and everything. I think he was like promoting like a beer or something.

Chrissy:

Well, like when running like he came out at at the What is it? The RNC or whatever. The Republican Party thing for and he was like endorsed Trump I thought pretty cool. And I I They showed him walking through the airport, very beaten up. Like, was limping.

Chrissy:

But, he was 71. You forget like how freaking old he was.

Paul:

Right?

Chrissy:

And, look at the shit he had to put his body through.

Paul:

All those years.

Chrissy:

Oh. And, I don't care what anybody says. Yeah. Wrestling is fake.

Paul:

Yeah. But you're still

Chrissy:

The storylines are fake, obviously, and all that. But there's

Paul:

shit's real. Fucking real. This the hearts of, like, millions of people. Know. What this shit's fake?

Chrissy:

The athleticism that they have to have is ferocious. Oh. I mean, they put their bodies through hell.

Paul:

Rumble and tumbles.

Chrissy:

Yeah. There's actually a girl that I worked out with down at Los Campiones. She's on wrestling now. She goes by Tiffany. It's Tiffy time.

Chrissy:

She's super pretty girl. And she trained through Greg Gagne. Now, trains up and coming stars or whatever. Right. She had to go through like all the craft that they have to go through, you know, and earn her way up ranks.

Chrissy:

But now, she's like a huge star. It's pretty cool. But yeah, kind of a weird weird deal with him.

Paul:

Did they say what he died from? Heart attack? Yep.

Chrissy:

Which I feel is me and my son were talking about this yesterday. I feel like is every one of them, like, has died from heart failure. Granted, he made it to 71.

Paul:

Yeah.

Chrissy:

But many of them forties, know, fifties. Really? Oh, yeah. Fuck. Do you remember fucking mister perfect?

Chrissy:

Do you remember him?

Paul:

What about like what was it?

Chrissy:

He was only like 45.

Paul:

What's that one wrestler that fell from the ceiling? Oh. What's that? Started with a b. Brett, the hit man Hart?

Chrissy:

Yes. Was it? Yes. It was one of the Hart brothers.

Paul:

Oh, okay.

Chrissy:

Yeah. But then there was one that kinda went bonkers and killed himself and his family, family, didn't he? Fuck.

Paul:

Fuck. Like I said, I haven't followed wrestling

Chrissy:

know. I here as a guest when I'm talking wrestling because he knows everything about it. Who? My son.

Paul:

Oh, yeah.

Chrissy:

Yeah. He's

Paul:

Yeah. He should've.

Chrissy:

A Freak wrestling fan. But, yeah. I thought I was gonna to check on him to see if he was suicidal after

Paul:

Right.

Chrissy:

Ozzy and the Hulk the Hulkster.

Paul:

What how old was Ozzy when he died? Like

Chrissy:

He was 76, I believe.

Paul:

76.

Chrissy:

Yeah.

Paul:

Alright. So you got 71

Chrissy:

76.

Paul:

Jim Rat dies at 71 Yeah. Or drugs and alcohol and made it to 76. Yeah. Choose wisely.

Chrissy:

But he's been clean clean and Aussie husband? Yeah. For like five or six years. I just they haven't said what he died from yet. No.

Chrissy:

I read

Paul:

It's probably just

Chrissy:

pact with Sharon, his wife, that when it came time Oh. He wanted the assisted suicide. Yeah. And I thought maybe that that's what they decided on, like, because he just did that huge concert. Yeah.

Paul:

Yeah. Go out on a high note.

Chrissy:

Yeah.

Paul:

Right. Yeah.

Chrissy:

Like

Paul:

The biggest grossing donation

Chrissy:

$91,000,000 to Parkinson's disease which is has. My mom about it yesterday. Was going to but and she knows who like, my mom liked that kind of music. Yeah. But, I was telling her about that and then she of course told me that her one of her brothers had basically assisted suicide.

Chrissy:

I'm like, well, what do you mean? It's not legal here. And she says, well, he was on hospice and they basically handed him the

Paul:

The button?

Chrissy:

The button. Allow yourself, give yourself as much as you want.

Paul:

You think you could do that?

Chrissy:

Yeah. My uncle without if I had brain cancer and it was in pain every day and couldn't function anymore. Right. Absolutely.

Paul:

Yeah. Way like if it if it if I didn't the quality of life,

Chrissy:

like Yes.

Paul:

Right? If you're just sitting there just Yes. Fucking not doing nothing and you're just wasting space, it's like I'd be out So be like, fuck this. I'm done.

Chrissy:

We just found out that my grandma, so my mom's mom, who wasn't in my mom's nursing home, but she was in a nursing home in Monticello.

Paul:

Yep.

Chrissy:

Through all this other death that were, you know, with the celebrities and stuff dying and stuff, found out my grandma died, but she was 100. Fuck. And but nobody told us. That she died last fall and nobody told us. Yeah.

Paul:

What? Yeah. What the fuck?

Chrissy:

I said How

Paul:

is that even happened?

Chrissy:

Went to go have her surgery. She went to the Monticello Hospital. Well, connected to the Monticello Hospital is the nursing home.

Paul:

Yeah. So I'm

Chrissy:

like, we might as well go see grandma Cruz if, well, you're waiting for Shannon.

Paul:

Right.

Chrissy:

So he did and they're like, yeah, she passed away last fall.

Paul:

What the fuck, man?

Chrissy:

And my like, no one told us. We don't even know well, we did find out who they told,

Paul:

but Yeah.

Chrissy:

I'm like, I know they would be my mom's nieces and they probably didn't even go pick up her body, you know. They ain't gonna pay for shit. So Fuck. Imagine the county just

Paul:

A 100 years old. That's fucking crazy.

Chrissy:

She wasn't able to talk anymore. She wasn't able to walk anymore. So she was about at least ten years past due like

Paul:

that's my grandma. So she just passed away at 93 or no, 91 a couple months ago. And it's like she was mobile, go to church every day, still do her stuff, drinking wine, hanging Like, she was fine. She got dementia within, the last couple of years. Yeah.

Paul:

And it just progressively gotten worse, but it wasn't to the point where she didn't recognize us or something. She just it's like she would forget, like, where we work or stuff like that. Yeah. And yeah, she she was in Monticello too and it was crazy. Fuck right at the end, that dementia and shit

Chrissy:

Yeah. She was on has well, she has Parkinson's.

Paul:

Hallucinating and shit.

Chrissy:

But with Parkinson's, which is the late stage of Parkinson's, come dementia. So Fuck. My mom isn't too bad yet. Nice shirt. I like it.

Paul:

Yeah. Thank

Chrissy:

you. So she's definitely slipping but Yeah. She isn't too bad yet. Like I Mike, we were Mike was messing with her yesterday. He's like, Gail.

Chrissy:

That's my mom's name Gail. He's like, what did he say to her? Did Chrissy ever irritate you when she was a kid? My mom goes. I'm like, well, you irritated me too, mom.

Chrissy:

Yeah. Even.

Paul:

Works both ways.

Chrissy:

Yeah. When I was little though, I used to Hi. Hi. Hello. What are I used to bite my mom.

Chrissy:

Like, when I was like a toddler.

Paul:

You're little cycle? Yeah. What the fuck?

Chrissy:

She is telling me, she goes, oh, you are evil, you would bite, just leave teeth works, like Yeah. Not just her, anybody. I would just Yeah. What the fuck? I know.

Chrissy:

Right? I don't know. Luckily, I grew out of that.

Paul:

Yeah. Right? But did you?

Chrissy:

Well, hey.

Paul:

Mike's not here to defend him.

Chrissy:

Mike's not here. Yeah. I haven't bit anybody in a while, but you never know. Know. So I was reading with when Ozzy passed away.

Chrissy:

He what did he say? They somebody oh, he was on the Pierce Morgan show like not that long ago. And Pierce was interviewing him and he his thing was he goes, what what would you put on your

Paul:

Tombstone? Tombstone? Oh.

Chrissy:

Bats taste like shit. I'm like, that's awesome.

Paul:

That is awesome. Can you imagine that? I wonder what that actually tasted like.

Chrissy:

He thought it was a fake bat.

Paul:

Yeah. That's what I heard.

Chrissy:

Yeah. He thought it was a like a plastic bat, and then it was a freaking real one. He bit the head off

Paul:

of it. And then he's gotta get those fucking rabies shots.

Chrissy:

Oh, yeah.

Paul:

With the long fucking needles. Is it? Doesn't it like four or five needles?

Chrissy:

He's like a whole series of them. Yeah.

Paul:

Fuck that.

Chrissy:

Man Bats are so disgusting.

Paul:

You would think you would think, like, he would instantly know that it was a real bat once he bit into it. Like, the bone and the chewiness of it.

Chrissy:

Think or

Paul:

the

Chrissy:

I

Paul:

don't know.

Chrissy:

Well, he's

Paul:

he's So fucked up on drugs and Drums and drunk. Yeah.

Chrissy:

And like, you know, he was in the middle of a concert.

Paul:

I could shoot that being there as a fake bat.

Chrissy:

But, yeah. I that was that him passing away shocked me too. Like, just I guess it didn't

Paul:

shock me. I was gonna say, I feel like that fucker's some surprise he's been alive as long as he was.

Chrissy:

But look at like, fucking Rolling Stone, Mick Jagger. Yeah. Keith Richards. Like, what are they? '85?

Paul:

And they're still still alive. Yeah. Touring. Just drugs and alcohol for how many years? No.

Paul:

Treating your body like a

Chrissy:

Just abusing it.

Paul:

Like a fucking

Chrissy:

And I don't even know like

Paul:

Amusement park that's going out of business.

Chrissy:

I Are they even sober now? I don't even know. I think Keith

Paul:

Richards long, what's the point? I I don't know. Fuck that.

Chrissy:

I don't know. But it was pretty cool to watch that concert with Ozzy.

Paul:

You did watch it?

Chrissy:

Yeah. Well, watched parts of it. No. But I could watch. Whatever.

Chrissy:

But, actually, did you ever see him in concert?

Paul:

I've seen him a couple to no.

Chrissy:

Not Not a huge Aussie fan.

Paul:

No. Actually, I don't think I did actually.

Chrissy:

See, no

Paul:

ACDC, not not him.

Chrissy:

So he was like huge in my in the eighties when I was a kid or growing up. But huge huge Aussie fan. But, never got to see him in concert like when he was younger. So back it had to have been around 02/2014, 02/2015, one of Mike's really good friends that he was in the military with lives in Detroit. And, he got a suite tickets to go see Ozzy Fuck.

Chrissy:

Playing with Black Sabbath.

Paul:

Oh my god.

Chrissy:

It was like their reunion. Yeah. And so we got to see Ozzy play with Black Sabbath in

Paul:

Detroit. Sick was that?

Chrissy:

It was so sick.

Paul:

In a sweet too far. And I

Chrissy:

ended up getting his jersey. Should've wore it today, actually.

Paul:

Yeah. What were you thinking?

Chrissy:

I don't know. It's a misopportunity. Says six six six on it. What? It's a it's like a hockey jersey.

Chrissy:

Yeah. Says six six six on it and it says on the on the front and the back. Oh. And it says the end, like, where your name was supposed

Paul:

to be.

Chrissy:

So because that was supposed to be their their final or whatever. Their get back together to a

Paul:

back end. Yep.

Chrissy:

But So I did get to see him play with Black Sabbath and it was

Paul:

I got a bad ass fucking

Chrissy:

I got goosebumps.

Paul:

Yeah. I got a bad ass jersey from Molly Crew. Oh. We went and seen them. It said it's like a it looks like a Harley Davidson symbol.

Paul:

Yep. And it says all bad all bad things must come to an end or something.

Chrissy:

Oh, yep. I heard no. It hasn't been spoken yet, but there was one band that Sharon Osbourne eliminated from the lineup. And like, there was every rock and roll band you could possibly imagine at this concert. Oh, really?

Chrissy:

To play. For They weren't getting paid. They were playing to raise money. Who wasn't there? Motley.

Chrissy:

Motley Crue. I have then it was allegedly, and that's just speculation, and there's a lot of people speculating because why weren't they there? Because toured with Ozzy Yeah. Lot.

Paul:

And they're fucking badass.

Chrissy:

And Sharon said, no, you're not coming or we don't want you here because they wanted to get paid. Really? And, I'm like, I kinda believe it. Like, I because I think Tommy is a dick. I don't he has a big dick but he dick.

Chrissy:

Like, I just think he's douchebag. Yeah. Anyway, we should probably start our first drink. What's that? Oh, no.

Chrissy:

You're fine. Are you joining us? I am. Come on there.

Paul:

I'll just take the can, you can have the shots. Yeah. Alright. What is this? Neutral?

Chrissy:

Neutral vodka seltzer. $11.89 for a 12 pack. Yep. This is the strawberry flavor. Yeah.

Chrissy:

I know. We're starting off with the crappy shit first. Neutral strawberry, a 100 calories, a vodka seltzer, comes in a 12 ounce can and four or packs for $11.89.

Paul:

What kind is this?

Chrissy:

Is this is this a new flavor or is it new just new for us? I don't know. I personally don't like neutrals. So, it's not my white claw and I'm not a

Paul:

It doesn't have that sparkly though. It's not as bad as I was expecting.

Chrissy:

Sitting here. So it might be a little flat for

Paul:

a while. Perfect. Well, if that's the case, that's

Chrissy:

You gotta help me with sit out.

Paul:

Oh, open it. Let it sit off for half hour.

Chrissy:

What's the percentage on this? Is it 5%? 4.5. 4.5. Okay.

Chrissy:

I mean, it's not bad.

Paul:

It just tastes like strawberry flat water.

Chrissy:

It does. Kinda.

Paul:

Like, let me try it again after a real right away pour. I wanna see if it for real. For real. For real.

Chrissy:

For real. Strawberry flat water.

Paul:

Doesn't it? Is that even a thing? I don't fucking know. I don't

Chrissy:

know what it is now. Well, it is kind of like if you open a can of pop.

Paul:

Oh, yeah. Okay.

Chrissy:

And then I the whole thing and I let it sit in the fridge, it's flat pop, you know.

Paul:

Dude, I would if you let if you open know it

Chrissy:

what do.

Paul:

Yeah. Right. I just need to sit there and open about six of them for them.

Chrissy:

Overnight.

Paul:

Yeah. It's not bad if you just let it sit. It's definitely I like it better if you

Chrissy:

let sit. Yeah.

Paul:

Yeah. See and that's what I don't like is that fucking

Chrissy:

I know you don't. Flat water. Have a new term, flat water. I don't know. I'd give it like a five.

Chrissy:

I kinda I'm with you, but I already know that I I've tried other flavors. That was the first one I've tried. Just not my jam.

Paul:

Shit. I'd give it like a seven or an eight if you let it sit. Flat water from the flat water.

Chrissy:

Ali likes flat water.

Paul:

Right. Yeah. Yeah. They should make something like that. Flat instead of water.

Paul:

Yeah. Right?

Chrissy:

You just fucking buy the all the old shit. Let it sit out.

Paul:

Can't Yeah. Right. Fucking genius. Millionaire.

Chrissy:

Polish waffles, flat water.

Paul:

I got all the research and developments already done. Mix

Chrissy:

them all together flavors. No one should do it.

Paul:

Oh. What the fuck?

Chrissy:

Hey. They made sipping pass.

Paul:

Can do

Chrissy:

flat water. I don't know. It it was okay. I give it probably about a five too. It's not horrible.

Chrissy:

Like, I would drink it if it was my only choice, but yeah.

Paul:

Yeah. I wouldn't throw it away.

Chrissy:

You know, just leave it sit out longer.

Paul:

Yeah. That's the that's the ticket right there. Let it Yep.

Chrissy:

A 100 Okay. This story, I came across the story last night when I was digging up stuff. So in New Zealand, which I wanna go at some point in my life.

Paul:

Right?

Chrissy:

It's the story of a thieving cat. So I was reading this, I'm like, what?

Paul:

A

Chrissy:

cat? A cat that's they obviously don't keep it inside. They let it roam inside and outside. But this cat, it says most owners dread their oh, there's another whole story. Most owners dread their pets bringing home mice or birds mine just brought a squirrel.

Chrissy:

Did you see that?

Paul:

Oh, yep. Yep. Oh.

Chrissy:

I almost puked. My cat brought a freaking squirrel and put it on the kitchen counter. Oh. Yeah. Because it's totally disgusting.

Chrissy:

Fuck. Anyhoo, I want this cat. This cat thieves people's clothes.

Paul:

Oh. I heard about this. It was on 93 x a couple Probably.

Chrissy:

Yeah. I didn't get it off at '93 x, but So, in Auckland, New Zealand, there's this cat that has no shame. Yeah. And it's running around their neighborhood stealing what I'm assuming is people from receiving clothes off clotheslines. Yeah.

Chrissy:

He has prolific laundry pinching from clotheslines and bet Oh, he goes into people's houses if their windows are open or their doors are open too. Oh, because he's he lives in a beach side neighborhood.

Paul:

Steal like everything from like socks and underwear to Yes. Fucking expensive like hoodies and shit or

Chrissy:

So a fifteen month old, he's a Siamese cat because they showed they showed a

Paul:

picture of him. Fuckers.

Chrissy:

His name is Leonardo da Pinci. That's what they named him. And he's got expensive taste. His frequent hauls include silk boxer shorts Yep. Thick men's work socks, preferably with clothespins still attached.

Chrissy:

And in one mortifying episode for his humans, a brand new $300 New Zealand cashmere sweater

Paul:

What?

Chrissy:

That he stole.

Paul:

I would fucking murder a cat.

Chrissy:

And at one point, I was reading, he drug home a freaking five foot long stuffed animal like a big stuffed snake.

Paul:

Oh. Drunk them. Just stealing kids fucking toys?

Chrissy:

Toys and like

Paul:

You imagine that though? Come home with a brand new $300 cash sweater.

Chrissy:

And then the ripped that off because you have to can't dry it. You have to hang it.

Paul:

Right.

Chrissy:

But, yeah. On his one record setting day, he brought home an entire outfit.

Paul:

Oh, my God.

Chrissy:

Which was a mix of everything from baby clothes to menswear. He brought a she says, just this morning, he brought home a jersey and old because they live on a boardwalk. So he's stealing like new shit like from like clothing

Paul:

Stores and shit. Yeah. They're they're selling swimsuits and fucking flip flops and

Chrissy:

Yep. The owner has dozens of items that are unclaimed and she's embarrassed, but she had to start posting it online or their to their local shops or local, I suppose, their bulletin boards or whatever.

Paul:

She's got a Facebook

Chrissy:

page for this belongs to you. My cat stole it. We apologize. You can have it back. But, yeah.

Chrissy:

Fucking funny shit. Leonardo DiPinci.

Paul:

That's fucking hilarious.

Chrissy:

Yeah. I thought start

Paul:

a fucking YouTube channel or some shit or

Chrissy:

a Facebook page. Yeah. Right?

Paul:

I'm sure they do.

Chrissy:

But, yeah.

Paul:

Capitalize on that.

Chrissy:

Yeah. That freaking I don't know where where how do you guys like cat get a laundry obsession? This is where I just this I've

Paul:

seen though like that too. I don't know. It must have been like short or something and this lady, she had like a sphinx cat. Yeah. And it would steal socks and underwear from the her home and hide it like back behind the washing machine or something.

Chrissy:

I could see.

Paul:

Or something like that.

Chrissy:

Like, because it's your cat and it's your has your scent on it. Your own stuff. But not like you're out fucking shoplifting. I'm like, this cat was thief. Like a person that was a thief in its previous

Paul:

Yeah. Just can't kick it

Chrissy:

I don't know how you would you can't really teach a cat to do that or would I mean, maybe you can but I don't know. They're like, we hope he's young and this is just his juvenile phase. So And that he grows out of it. She goes, because we really don't think we can deal this for the next fifteen years.

Paul:

Fuck. You need one of them crows or raven. You ever see that shit?

Chrissy:

Where they steal shit?

Paul:

Those those things are so Like

Chrissy:

pigeons.

Paul:

Fucking Who? Like crows or ravens, those things are so fucking smart. Yeah. Like, they they will use they'll like to crack a walnut, they'll throw it in the middle of the road, wait for a car to run the fucker over and pick it up. Sure.

Paul:

Like, they've got them in captivity where they'll put, like, a piece of food in a tube that's sitting on a wall and they'll give them, like, they'll just throw, like, a stick or something in there. That fucker will take the stick and push it down till it gets it out the other end. They've got, like, I've seen I don't know where it was, some different country, but the the crow would pick up paper money. So it started picking up dollar bills Sure. And coins and shit all over, and it it it just like this dude ended up getting hundreds of dollars just from this crow just flying out coming back with money.

Paul:

Yeah. Fuck. Like, they People would be whatever, you know, buying a hot vending machine. Oh, shit. Right?

Chrissy:

Go pickpocket that guy over there.

Paul:

And those things are like, they got good memories and they're like, they they'll hold a vendetta like a grudge like I mean, it's Yeah. It's crazy like, alright. So, if if a crow dies.

Chrissy:

Yeah.

Paul:

In an area, in a certain area and the crow didn't like, another crow didn't see it happen or like it like doesn't know how it happened. Yeah. They will leave that area because they think that maybe it's the food or something.

Chrissy:

Or something's coming back to get them

Paul:

or Yeah. Something like that. Like say say you fuck with a crow and there's like say there's like a couple of them there or whatever and you say you shoot one or kill one or something and the other crows see it, those crows will fuck with you.

Chrissy:

Oh, yeah.

Paul:

And then not only that, they it's like they'll pass it down to their fucking next generation of kids until you're fucking gone. What?

Chrissy:

Yeah. Fucking demon crows.

Paul:

Yeah, They're fucking crazy.

Chrissy:

Matty's face.

Paul:

Right? I wanna crow. How do you know this?

Chrissy:

Said, you truck forever

Paul:

watch YouTube.

Chrissy:

I have noticed and Mike noticed it too and I brought it up to because we just got our roof done on our house. So the guy that did our roof, I brought it to him. We This year and only this year, now I've lived where I've lived for over twenty years now. Yeah. I have never in my life seen crows in my yard before.

Paul:

Really?

Chrissy:

Like eating off of whatever is on my ground. In my yard this year eating stuff.

Paul:

Really?

Chrissy:

But I haven't had mosquitoes this year and I haven't had wood ticks this year.

Paul:

I bet they're cleaning house on

Chrissy:

them ticks. Bet you. My dogs have not had one single wood tick Really? Year and I haven't hardly given them their stuff because I ran out.

Paul:

I was gonna say you need chickens. Chickens will clean house on fucking ticks. Too. Yeah.

Chrissy:

To Johnny, the roofer, he said the same thing. He goes, you know what? I've noticed the same thing. In my all my years, I've never seen crows in my yard Mhmm. Eating stuff off my ground before.

Chrissy:

And it's weird. But he goes, yeah. Yeah. I noticed it too now that you say that. Right.

Chrissy:

So I just seen him this morning eating stuff. And I've never before seen crows in my yard.

Paul:

Rarely do I ever have crows in my yard. And I I feed squirrels and Yeah. Birds or whatever.

Chrissy:

Freaking them trash pandas.

Paul:

Yeah. I got all sorts

Chrissy:

of That's so

Paul:

cute. All those little babies?

Chrissy:

Oh my god. You have them every year?

Paul:

Five of them, yeah, this year. I've only see I think a couple of them died because I seen Mhmm. Three of them walking around the other day.

Chrissy:

Oh, really? Mhmm. Yeah. They're cute

Paul:

as well. Yeah. My cousin, Botsie, had one or was like fostering one. Actually, his wife was just in here. But he was fostering one for a while.

Chrissy:

And they

Paul:

went they went on vacation somewhere and I got to watch it for a week. Oh, dude. The raccoon?

Chrissy:

Chrissy:

They're mischievous.

Paul:

Oh, yeah.

Chrissy:

They're In their little hands?

Paul:

They need to touch everything. Everything. Yeah. Even before they eat, they'll like touch it and then eat it. Yeah.

Paul:

And like I took I took one of those cornhole boards Yeah. Flipped it upside down and then put plastic in there, Went to the local hardware store and got a bunch of minnows. Threw them in there and filled it up and that fucker is just running around for hours trying to catch that fucker. Really? Yeah.

Paul:

Couldn't catch it for shit.

Chrissy:

Oh, that is funny.

Paul:

Just a little guy. Yeah. But it was

Chrissy:

So we raised I've raised pretty much every type of animal that there is. I've had a skunk. Oh. A decent Descented one.

Paul:

I would kill it. My old man used to have a skunk when he was a kid.

Chrissy:

Yep. My my There used to be a in Istani, there used to be a fur farm.

Paul:

How'd you get it?

Chrissy:

And then back then, before they you made it all illegal, you could buy

Paul:

It's illegal now?

Chrissy:

I think so. Oh, to do to at least raise these

Paul:

Right? As a pet?

Chrissy:

Yeah. Yeah. Because they had mink, they had skunk, they had ferrets, they had raccoons, they had a mountain lion in their house.

Paul:

Oh, I wonder

Chrissy:

wolves and bears and like all of that stuff and I

Paul:

remember a kid in high school used to have a fucking cougar, Matt Beck.

Chrissy:

Really?

Paul:

Chrissy:

Badass.

Paul:

Chrissy:

My well, my dream was a Black Panther. It's just they're just freaking sleek and shiny.

Paul:

Well, you see that one that what's her name? Luna or something? I think this girl's got a YouTube page or something and she's got a Rottweiler and a

Chrissy:

Black Panther.

Paul:

Black Panther.

Chrissy:

And they play? Yeah. Yeah. I have

Paul:

seen Oh my god. How sick or that other one that they I think they're like Australian or something. They got a cougar that was in a zoo, but it was a runt, so it's super small. Small? Yeah.

Paul:

So it's well, it's not super small. It's probably still thirty, forty pounds. Right. But

Chrissy:

Right. Bigger than your host cat.

Paul:

Fucking sick would it be to have something like that. Not ridiculously big, you know?

Chrissy:

But even those Bengal cats, like those domestic Bengal cats. Oh. They're pretty freaking cool.

Paul:

What are those? Savannahs?

Chrissy:

Whatever they are.

Paul:

Don't know.

Chrissy:

Paul:

Yeah. It looks like a fucking cheetah or something. Savannahs? Yeah. Those things are fucking crazy.

Chrissy:

They're super expensive.

Paul:

Yeah. Well, like $2?

Chrissy:

I probably even more than that. I don't know.

Paul:

I know

Chrissy:

them hairless cats like you guys had.

Paul:

$1,500 for $2.

Chrissy:

Cats have long legs. Yes.

Paul:

Oh, yeah. Do they from a from a straight standstill, I think they can jump like 12 feet vertical or something. It's ridiculous. Yeah.

Chrissy:

I don't know. It would be cool. My cats

Paul:

I eat cats. My they're awesome.

Chrissy:

His he's he we found him. He was we got this hay for my horses from an old man up in Malacca. And we borrowed his hay trailer to haul the hay. This was years ago. Well, thirteen years ago.

Chrissy:

Fifteen years ago. Something like that. Anyhow, we as we're unloading the hay bales, you know, because it was square bales, we a litter of cats. Yep. A litter of kittens in there.

Chrissy:

Their eyes open yet.

Paul:

That's like fucking notorious place for the cats. Yeah.

Chrissy:

And so I'm like, oh my god. There's babies in here. Well, the mom wasn't with. She we had inadvertently taken, you know, their home. Yeah.

Chrissy:

I So put them in a little thing and I brought them back or whatever. They were all different colors. There was a gray one with a white no. He had a white face, a gray little nose, and four little feet. And he was just fluffy.

Chrissy:

Yeah. But they were like maybe three days old if that. Oh. Then there was like open yet? No.

Chrissy:

They were trainee. And I'm like, oh my god, Mike. Look at this little gray one. Look at the markings on it. It was just he's just so cool.

Chrissy:

It's markings. I'm like, this would be a cool ass cat. Eight weeks later, we go back to go get hay. What? That little fucking gray one came running right at me.

Paul:

Really?

Chrissy:

Oh, yep. He came running right towards me.

Paul:

It's like it was meant

Chrissy:

to be. He's just a fluff ball. Like, he's just a fluff ball. And I thought because he was so cute that it was a she.

Paul:

Oh, yeah.

Chrissy:

So I named named I'm like, I'm taking this cat home. He's so cute. It was meant to be.

Paul:

Yeah. Right.

Chrissy:

He what he ran to me.

Paul:

Dude's like, I don't give a fuck. Take them I remember her. I couldn't

Chrissy:

see her, but I remember her. You little little shit ran right to

Paul:

me.

Chrissy:

Right? I'm like, oh my god. He goes, this farmer had like 75 cats. Oh, So Yeah. This cat would have died.

Chrissy:

Yeah. Probably. Anyhow, we took Eden home, my cute little little girl cat. Well, four months later, Eden had balls. I'm like, well, here we go.

Paul:

Guess It's kitten. I guess it's

Chrissy:

not a cute little girl kitty. It's a little boy kitty.

Paul:

That's fucking hilarious. My mom, her parents, when I remember when I was younger, you know County Road 2 out of Princeton? Yes. Yep. They used to live off that.

Paul:

It, like, snakes off in that. It was like a shortcut you could take to get to that 38 Road. Yeah. And they they owned it. It was like a blue and white rambler, had a pool in the back, and then there was a pond out front, and it has, like, a horse barn in the back with, like, a whatever place in the back.

Paul:

And fuck. I remember we'd go out there so many times, and, like, every time we go out there, it'd be like a new litter of kittens.

Chrissy:

A new litter of kittens. Yeah. Yeah. They're crazy. I was telling them about how Eden how we got Eden.

Paul:
